At Smoke Rise, we want our elementary children to learn 3 basic truths:
- I can trust God no matter what
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated
- I need to make the wise choice
We have a variety of programs throughout the week to try to reiterate these truths as well as help children develop faith skills such as:
- Navigating the Bible
- Memorizing and Applying Scripture
- Learning and Experiencing Prayer
- Articulating their Faith
- Worshipping God and Giving to others
Sunday Morning Schedule

| Coming Soon: 4:12 Kids - on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, children in the 1st-5th grades have the option of leaving worship during the offertory hymn to attend a contemplative, multisensory worship experience meant for them. |
What to Expect on Sundays
First, come dressed however you like. You will find children in shorts and tennis shoes as well as children in dressier clothes. Be yourself--we like that here at Smoke Rise.
During the Sunday School hour, kids in 1st – 5th grades go to the 3rd floor and start in their graded classrooms. All grades join together for a large group to hear the bible story and then return to their classrooms by the end of the hour for pickup.
Kids in kindergarten and below, attend Sunday School on the main level. Check in near the fish tank at the weekday school entrance, to be shown to your classroom.
Wednesday Night Schedule
| 5:15-6:30 | Family Dinner – Fellowship Hall; Adults $6, Kids 10 and under $3, Family max $20 |
| 5:45-7:45 | Nursery - For children birth – 2 years |
| 6:00–6:40 | Children's Choir - 3 yrs – 5th grade |
| 6:45-7:15 | Children's Missions - 3 yrs – 5th grade - in the Sanctuary (nursery for children kindergarten and under) |
Other Events
- Family Fun Nights – held throughout the year for kids (and parents) of all ages
- Vacation Bible School - the 2nd week of June each summer for ages 4 through 5th grade
- Summer Camp – for Kids in grades 3 – 5
- Family Advent Breakfast – The first Sunday of Advent
