All of us are sinners
Romans 3:23-24
"23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
Even so, God loves us
Romans 5:8
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
God not only provides salvation, but also a
way to live forever
John 3:16; Romans 6:23
John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
And God asks us to turn away from our sins
Luke 13:3
"I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."
We can call upon God for salvation
Romans 10:13-14
"13for, 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' 14How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"
And believe in the Lord Jesus
Acts 16:31
"They replied, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.'"
We can know that we are saved
John 1:12; Romans 10:9
John 1:12: "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God"
Romans 10:9: "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
The world can know that we are saved
Matthew 7:16, 20
"16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?"
"20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them."
